“How to make authentic Pho” By Jordan D



            Pho is a national dish of Vietnam; it has captured many people’s taste buds by complex flavors. Pho is perfect comforting food because it is warm and refreshing. It is great to eat it in the winter and summer basically any weather. In Vietnam pho is considered street food or people food because it is common.

Ingredients
-       2 pounds beef soup bones
-       2 onion, unpeeled and cut in half
-       1-2 tablespoon salt
-       3 pods star anise
-       2 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
-       4 ½ quarts water
-       1 (7 ounce) package dried rice noodles
-       2 1/2 pounds beef top sirloin, thinly sliced
-       1 1/2 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
-       1 tablespoon chopped green onion (optional)
-       1/2 cups bean sprouts
(optional)
-       2 bunch Thai basil
-       1 lime, cut into 2
-       Any amount hoisin sauce (optional)
-       Any amount Chile-garlic sauce (such as Sriracha®) (optional)

I am a really big fan of pho Jordan so I was very excited to see this how to. I liked how you gave a little background of pho in the first paragraph. Thanks for supplying a list of ingredients, however next time I hope you add some instructions on the preparation of pho.

Pho always tastes really good to me, but I can never tell what's in it because it contains so many wonderful and distinct flavors. However, your submission satisfied all of my curiosities, and now I know exactly what to use to make authentic pho! I thoroughly enjoyed the brief introduction, but I wish you had given more instructions on how to actually make the pho. We have all the ingredients, but now what do we do? :( Other than that, the writing and photos were great, and I really wish I had pho now.

Pho is probably my favorite dish and I try to have it any chance I get. You are definitely correct about it being an any type of weather dish because I always seem to crave it. I liked the little introduction you gave, the list of equipment I would need, and the pictures that are currently making my mouth water. I just with you gave some instructions so I knew exactly how to make it.

Pho is one of my favorite dishes. I liked how you added a paragraph about pho in the beginning. My family always eats pho, so this would be useful if we don't feel like going out to eat. I liked how you added hoisin sauce and sriracha to the list as an option. The only thing that i feel like you should add is the instructions in making pho.

This was a great article to read and it was very interesting. Even though I have never tried pho before, it looks really good and appetizing. I love your explanation on pho in the first paragraph where you gave information on what pho is and where it is from. It was really helpful for people like me, who have never tried it before, to know what exactly it is. What would have made this instructional article perfect is if you added some steps on how to prepare this dish.

Catch me putting a whole lot of cilantro! I have had pho before and I really liked it. But never caught on on how to make. i would like to try i, and your instructions where very thorough and great touch on adding photos.

I've never tried Pho, and I wasn't planning to in the future but maybe this is a sign that I should try it. I've never been a fan of soup or anything but I probably should try new things. I would now like to try Pho given your instructions on how to make it! Thanks for writing this.
